Chime looking for a new Chairman to join the Chime Board of Directors

Chime is at a very exciting point in evolving it's hearing services and is seeking an inspirational leader to join and lead the Board of Directors. Have you got the skills and appetite to help take Chime to the next level? As the first (at present) only Social Enterprise Hearing Service, we represent the best of the NHS and are viewed as Pioneers in all that we do by our peers and our patients.
Chime is now seeking a Chairperson, responsible for holding the Board and Executive Team to account for Chime’s mission and vision.
They will also support, and, where appropriate, challenge the Managing Director and ensure that the Board functions as a unit and works closely together to achieve Chime’s agreed objectives.
He or she will act as an ambassador and a public face of Chime, in partnership with the Managing Director.
In order to continue Chime’s current trajectory of successful growth, we are seeking an individual with significant leadership experience, skilled in negotiation, lobbying and team building, who can guide the business toward fulfilling its strategic and operational objectives while representing our cause and our patients at all levels.
An understanding of the NHS and its operations would be helpful, but not essential, though candidates should have a broad knowledge and understanding of the sector and current issues affecting it.
