Commended in the Western Morning News Business Awards
Posted on 2016-11-14 12:59:00 in GeneralWe are extremely proud to have been Highly Commended as a finalist in the ‘Best Community Contribution’ category in the 2016 Western Morning News Business Awards! Although we didn't win, we were one of only two businesses to be Highly Commended from over 300 entries across all 14 award categories on the Awards night. This accolade is another testament to our innovative business and the stand out service we offer here in Exeter.
The annual awards ceremony celebrates the very best of enterprise and innovation in the area, identifying businesses who can prove they are progressive, ambitious and creative.
A wide range of business were featured across 14 different categories in total, including businesses of all sizes across all sectors. We stood alongside Beach Schools South West, Devon Air Ambulance and The Daisy Garland who were named as the ‘Best Community Contribution’ category winner.
For many enterprises like Chime, ceremonies like this help them to grow in confidence and provide the determination to succeed, despite the disadvantages of infrastructure and the challenges of geography. This commendation means a lot to everyone at Chime and not only helps us to flourish but it rewards us for the quality of service we provide to so many people who suffer with hearing loss in the local area.
The awards ceremony and gala dinner was held at the Holiday Inn, Plymouth on Thursday 17th November and was attended by Chime’s Ruth Woolway, Hannah Parr, Peter Macklin, Amii Semmens, Lewis Deane, Tanvi Sathe, Jonathan Parsons, Kay Richman, Diane Hopkins and Kelvin Wakeham. Managing Director, Jonathon Parsons, who commented:
“Accolades like this are invaluable to Chime’s growth and success and help us to maintain the highest possible hearing care service in the area. I am proud of the whole Chime team and truly believe this is just one of many more to come.”
